JAM is a collaborative talent scout that gives seven emerging French-Canadian language songwriters, composers and singers the chance to perform their way from their hometowns to the stage of Quebec’s biggest song festival, Les FrancoFolies de Montréal. Comedian, host and musician Patrick Groulx is their mentor – and “tormentor” – through this exhilarating roadtrip, providing hilarious challenges, sound advice and reassurance as contestants get ready to take center stage for the biggest gig of their life… so far! Seasons 1, 2 and 3 concentrate on Franco-Ontarian talent while seasons 4 and 5 broaden the search coast-to-coast to all French speakers across Canada.
