Synopsis

The racial malaise in Quebec is the inspiration behind Profilage Racial, a documentary on how police are handling cultural diversity in Montreal North. Interviews, news and stock material help retrace the events that led to the shooting of young Fredy Villanueva, and the protest riots that ensued. Profilage Racial paints the portrait of a borough’s cultural diversity through its stakeholders and responders.
